What is one thing you would want to share with your fellow brothers and sisters?
I want my brothers and sisters at DEM to know that there is nothing more gratifying and valuable than following their passions, no matter how impossible or unconventional they seem.
Don’t be afraid to explore a new avenue or challenge yourself in a new position. You never know what doors those might open for you and your passions.
How are you changing or challenging the world around you today?
As an MPH student, I have been engaging with public health content in policy, advocacy, and program development. Utilizing social determinants of health to better address the needs in the community is a key part of my program. Communicating health messaging effectively and respectively is another aspect of public health that we incorporate as well.
